Tuesdays at Target

I live down the street from Target. (I could walk there if I weren't afraid of lugging all my packages home by hand.) Naturally, with 6 people living in my house, I am stopping in to Target for "that one thing I forgot" all the time; actually, too often. Sometimes I just know the red-shirted employees are snickering between the aisles at the lady whose life seems to revolve around Target.

They're just jealous.

Being in there so frequently means I catch lots of deals! I stalk the clearance racks until items are marked down at least 50%. (Cheapness runs very deep in my family.) Afterall, retail prices never reflect value, even at Target, right? It is like a game. I have to weigh how many items are in stock and whether or not they will be sold before they got to the 50% or if I am lucky, even 75%. Turkey and I go early in the morning when there is no one there but the workers and the other Starbucks Shoppers*.

Since I clearly posses a rare expertise in the field of Target stalking, I have decided to share with you, my buddies, some of the great deals I find. After all, the ads do not reflect clearance items: just sales items. You're so lucky you have me!


NOTE: Unfortunately Target does not make it easy for me to funnel buyers their way, so you may have to put up with less-than-great pictures when I forget my cell phone (like today!)

One little disclaimer: I do not work for Target and I am not affiliated with them in any real way (aside from the fact that the employees in my local store now know me!) Bargain Number 1:

Mossimo makes these cute totes, selling at $14.99. Target is stocking them in several colors this season and guess what! Many of those colors have been moved over to the clearance rack! I saw one of my favorite patterns (the floral one) on sale for under $4! 

Bargain Number 2: 

Merona Solid Wraps used to retail at $12.99. I saw black, cream, grey and hot pink on clearance for under $4! These are a great staple. For me, there is an added benefit to them being cheap and possibly lesser quality than a more expensive scarf: when someone barfs on it, I will have zero guilt about tossing it!

Bargain number 3:

I found these Circo jeans for girls hot off the markdown cart! These normally only retail at $9.99, which is a great price, since in my experience, they fit well and hold up well. Right now these jeans are going for under $7! Seriously. You cannot beat this! (These are also some of the best jeans for you embellish-ers out there!)
